Sleepover! [D9, LM]

[Alicent Feyther]

Alicent went straight from the event grounds and the confrontation to Kylie's tent. It would be good to know as soon as possible whether she'd go to the Arbor or Rosecrown. Besides... seeing another lady, and a friend at that after all this would be soothing to her heart. "Kylie, are you in?"

[Claryssa]

Kylie smiled brightly at the young Feyther's call. "Yes, I am!" Claryssa moved to the tent opening to allow their friend entry. She moved the flap only to be stunned upon looking at the poor girl's bruises. She collected herself, her face a portrait of concern and worry.

"My Lady, what happened?" Claryssa questioned as she showed the Lady in. That caused Kylie to turn as she put in her other earring.

"What's wrong?" She too saw what had been inflicted upon her friend. "By the Seven, are you all right? Are you in danger?" She tried to peek outside to see if anyone was following her.

[Alicent Feyther]

"Ah... Well..." She chewed on her lip for a moment. "Do you mind if I come in to discuss it?" She adjusted her hair a little bit to try and hide the bruise on the left side of her face behind it and hid her splinted wrist behind her.

[Kylie Redwyne]

"Yes, of course. Please, sit down. Can we get you anything?" Kylie was certain this was the most violent Festival of Roses she'd ever seen. Knights were meant to be the ones with bruising, not the Ladies.

She watched Claryssa preparing to grab her dagger if need be.

[Alicent Feyther]

"I'm... all right... Honestly. Now, anyway. Maybe some wine?" She asked with a half-smile, sitting down as gracefully as she could, given that she had to do so slowly.

[Kylie Redwyne]

Kylie smiled sympathetically. "Well, you came to the right place for that. Red or white?" She pulled out a bottle of each. She was to give one to Lord Bromley on the last day of the Festival so they were on hand. Claryssa stayed by the entrance a moment longer than what most might consider necessary before smiling and going for the mugs.

"Red, please," she replied with a smile. "Thank you."

[Kylie Redwyne]

Claryssa started to bring over two mugs before a look from Kylie told her to get three. She set them out as Kylie opened the Arbor Red. "Do you need something for pain? Claryssa and I always have milk of the poppy when we travel should one of us be injured on the road." It was the truth after all. She just wouldn't explain that they also had it in case Claryssa was wounded and they meant to avoid nosy maesters.

The Redwyne poured with a practiced hand, and Claryssa brought Alicent a small pillow for her arm without comment. One thing she did know was injuries. She wasn't good with healing any but her own, but she did know how to spot them on others and what might make one more comfortable.

[Alicent Feyther]

"Just the wine is fine, though I appreciate the offer. If only you'd been there last night," she said with a dry chuckle. "You saw yesterday, when Ser Lorent was wearing my favor at the joust, didn't you?"

[Kylie Redwyne]

Kylie and Claryssa didn't have to look at one another to know they were thinking the same thing, if not with different twists.

'I'd never have expected this of a Tyrell.'

'Lorent is about to meet the edge of my blade.'

The Redwyne nodded. "Yes, of course. You and I were each there to cheer on our respective gentlemen." She took a sip of wine.
