Hunting a Drink (D7 LA)

[Liliane Marten]

Liliane arrived to the Empty Mug in her more rugged traveling clothes in an effort to seem less out of place as she bought a drink. She looked around to find a corner table so she might sit and people watch more effectively. This was a strange place while she was a noble and she was accustomed to similar festivities she was also used to them involving more of her kin.

IN this way the seedy tavern was at least a more accustomed place to encounter strangers.

As it wouldn't be proper to let Liliane enter such places alone, and having made a promise to Kylie to help, Leovall entered with her. He was likewise in his own traveling clothes minus the ermine cape.

Taking a seat at the table corner Liliane chooses he signals for a couple of drinks.

"Well, here we are."

[Liliane Marten]

"Yup, I am just hoping that the poorer drinks benefit from being this close to the Arbor," she said with a roguish smile, "Besides... They would have the nicer stuff out for the festival, wouldn't they?" She took a tentative sip.

[Leovall Marten]

"I've had worse." He declares after having his own careful first sip. Nonetheless the cup is set down for the moment. "Think it's worth trying the fare?"

[Liliane Marten]

"My stomach has just recovered from all the wine at the feast. I believe I shall pass," she chuckled as she carefully sipped from the cup.

[Leovall Marten]

"You ate far too much Lili." It was actually kind of gross. For some reason he's smirking.

[Liliane Marten]

"Well, maybe that as well. There was a lot of everything," she said waving the whole unpleasant side-effect of the night off.

[Leovall Marten]

"It was a good feed." Accepting her dismissing the topic he returns his attention to the Empty Mug. Who's about? He scans the room quietly, taking another sip.
