[D8 EA] Round 13: Caim Feyther vs. Leovall Marten

[Caim Feyther]

Caim saluted with a similar seriousness as he had with his other opponents before snapping down his visor and charging. He took a defensive posture, feeling out his opponent. Sadly, his spear smashed against the shield without effect.

[Leovall Marten]

Doing his best to stay sharp after Marten Tremaine's resounding victory the young heir say high up as he returned Caim's salute. Accepting his lance after lowering his visor he kicks off into a decent enough start. While Caim's lance glanced fairly harmlessly his own hit moderately well.

[Caim Feyther]

Caim manages to stay in the saddle with ease, getting ready for the next pass. Fortunately, his armor absorbed the hit, so he was set to go for the next pass, this time taking a more aggressive setting high in the saddle. Sadly, even though he hit, it didn't do much with Leovall's armor.

The younger knight stays in his saddle without too much difficulty as his own lance knocks Caim's shield pretty hard. Leovall realised this would likely be a longer affair as both of them would almost certainly clash quite a few times. Who has the stamina?

Caim stays in the saddle easily once again as the Marten knight smashed into his shield. He felt a bruise starting to form on his arm, but gritted his teeth, ignoring it. He turned and rode again, high, smashing the lance against him, but having no more effect than that.

Meanwhile Caim's opponent was having a little more success as he knocks Caim's shield again. It would be absorbed and the Feyther knight would likely keep his seat, but perhaps it would slowly grind him down? At the very least it was likely a good show for the audience!

Leovall turns about and receives his fourth tourney lance. Eyes sharp. Let's really land this one.

Caim kept his seat once more. They were evenly matched, he had to give him that for a boy whose face looked only a little older than his sister in the audience. He glanced up toward the stands as he fetched the last lance, then rode once more. He had to hit this time.

Things were now getting very, very interesting! The next pass saw a heavy hit to each knight with Leovall looking worse the ware for a moment. He was slow taking the final tourney lance so that he might have a moment to catch his breath.

For the final pass they both land reasonable hits on each others' shields. Leovall, for his part, stays in the saddle and circles back as he slows his horse down to a walk. Flipping his visor up and smiling he claps his chest once in admiration for the other knight. It was perhaps the best show the crowd had gotten all day!
