The Mystery Knight was back in the saddle again, sitting astride the pinto steed that waited for the signal to go. It was hard to tell where the knight was looking, but seemed focused on the opponent ahead.

Nope, this was not awkward at all. Terrance offered a salute to the hosts, the crowd and the mysterious knight. He kept his face neutral as he lowered his visor, not wanting to betray any secrets.

The Mystery Knight saluted as well, and when they were both ready, the pinto steed was spurred into action. The lance was steady as it struck true, but probably not enough to unseat the Stone.

Anyone who knew his connection to the mystery knight might think he has fallen purposely. He might even wonder that himself. But, the truth was far simpler. Terrance wasn't a knight. He lost to a worthy opponent.

His lance barely grazed the mystery rider, while he was once again hit squarely in the chest and pushed up and off Llyan. At least it wasn't as hard this time.

The Mystery Knight turned the horse around while discarding the broken lance.

Like in Terrance's previous match, he was soon offered a gloved hand to help him up.

Rising to his feet and lifting his visor, he offered a smile.

"Well struck. You are quite skilled, better than many men I've known."

The Mysterious Knight said nothing, merely nodding once in gratitude and giving Terrance a 'manly' pat on the shoulder. Then letting go of the Stone, returned to the pinto steed to clear the field for the next round of jousters.

Taking Llyan's reins again, Terrance walked away. It was time to get this damned armor off.
