One of Lysa's maids, Leana, was thrown from a window three days after we arrived. It was a ghastly horror that woke many from their beds."
"Most don't know it was a murder, my Lord." Claryssa put in. "I saw the stab wound, as did a man named Terrance Stone, here with House Marten. Also, Lady Alicent Feyther assisted the Maester so I'm sure she saw as well."
"Lord Meadows might simply be exercising discretion, as he was when we first went to see him. He didn't want to admit that it was in fact foul play, but we perhaps pressed harder than was proper of us. We wanted to allow someone trusted in his guard question Claryssa. You know how people unfortunately blame foreigners for tragedies."
