Lord Meadows has arranged for some of the finest musicians in this part of Westeros to perform for the enjoyment of the guests.
Experimental Rule: For this Event ONLY, 6s on rolled dice can explode!
Step One: Showing Your Skill
Before the main event begins, minstrels and mummers mingle with the guests, encouraging them to join in their playful displays.
Roll: Agility (Acrobatics, Play Instrument), Awareness (Perform Song, Perform Oratory), Cunning (Memory, Perform Oratory), or Thievery (Sleight of Hand), Challenging (TN9)
Failure: Well, that was embarrassing. -1 Music Points.
Success (one-three degrees): You entertain those near you. +1 Music Point per degree of success.
Success (four degrees): You catch the attention of everyone in the Hall. Gain +5 Music Points, and the notice of the more important guests.
Step Two: Showing Your Appreciation
The musicians have tuned their instruments and the guests are all seated, it’s time to begin. You may have an appreciation of fine music, or you may have to fake it.
Roll: Deception (Act, Bluff), Persuasion (Charm), or Status (Breeding), Challenging (TN9)
Critical Failure: Your snoring will be the subject of much gossip tomorrow. -2 Music Points.
Failure: You try to stifle a yawn, but you just can’t. -1 Music Points.
Success (one-four degrees): You are attentive and clap politely at the correct intervals. +1 Music Point per degree of success.
Step Three: May I Have This Dance?
Servants clear the chairs and the musicians segue into a familiar song.
Roll: Agility (Dance, Acrobatics) or Status (Breeding),Challenging (TN9)
Failure: You step on a few toes, and forget the steps to one of the chain dances, but nobody’s perfect. -1 Music Points.
Success (one-four degrees): Your elegance is commendable. +1 Music Point per degree of success.
Music Points: The player with the most Music Points at the end of the Event gains 1 Fame.
