[Leovall Marten]

Not displaying any ill effects from the feast and in a chipper mood from the upcoming dressage event was Leovall, strolling merrily through the gardens. Pausing and stretching out his hands he notices a spot to sit. Why not? He takes a seat and gets comfortable. "Nice gardens." He comments cheerfully to himself, still looking left and right. While he couldn't name many of the flowers and plants they did all look good.

[Kylie Redwyne]

Kylie's stomach hadn't agreed with her, but a good night's rest had taken care of that. Now she sought fresh air. While she was not in her riding clothes, she did wear the boots under her gown.

The gardens sounded like the perfect place to attain some much needed fresh air. It proved to be an excellent choice. The blooms were lovely as were the scents surrounding her. And possibly the company?

She saw Ser Leovall sitting in the garden, apparently taking in the beauty of nature himself. She walked over, happy to see him. "Hello, my Lord. It's a beautiful day today." she curtsied.

"Isn't it though?" He agrees readily, hopping up and offering a bow rather energetically. "How are you today Lady Kylie? I love mornings so I hope you don't mind if I am a little too spirited." As he was smiling at her it was clear he was happy to have her company. "Would you like to look around together?"

[Kylie Redwyne]

Kylie beamed, "You look very dapper today Ser Leovall. How can I resist such an offer?" The smile and mirth clear in her voice.

"I came seeking fresh air. I am happy for the good company as well." Her hands clasped at her waist, she moved to stride along with him at a leisurely pace.

[Leovall Marten]

"And you look radiant yourself my lady." And he meant it, even if there was a passing thought about how she was sweeter than any red.

Beginning to lead them slowly through the gardens he nods along to her comments. "As am I. I find myself thinking my own home could use some gardens. It needs to be practical, but some more life wouldn't hurt."

[Kylie Redwyne]

"The Vale has its own true beauty." She noted, glancing more at him than the flowers. "As I'm sure you've noticed, the shore tends to create it's own weather. I'm sure there are many plants that would flourish in such an environment."

[Leovall Marten]

"Do you think any grapes would enjoy it at home? I'm sure my father would love a vineyard." And Kylie did seem the person to ask.

Kylie allowed a coy smile to light her features. "I would of course need to visit to answer that definitively. But there are many kinds that can flourish in weather other than that of The Arbor. I can't speak to the quality of the wine, though. All of the grapes on the island and meant to thrive in tropical settings. Having said that, there are many different fruits and other things used for wine. Blackberries, sesame seeds, rice..." She stopped herself, looking down. "Forgive me. You've found a topic I could speak on for a while. Many Lords who visit The Arbor bring their own wines, so I've had quite the variety."

“You make it sound like you drink too much my lady.” The young knight teases when the opportunity presents itself. “Come now. I am enjoying learning about this. Please continue.” How bad would it be to become involved in wine making in some way? Surely it would be good for the House if it were possible.

[Kylie Redwyne]

Kylie brought a loose fist to cover her mouth as she giggled. "I certainly hope I don't. 'Wine' is already in my name, and in the color of my dress today. I'd hate to think it was also going to my head." She jested in return.

"Actually, when you've been raised around wine such as I have, you learn quickly how to only have a taste. In fact, did you know the vintners only swirl the wine in their mouth but don't drink it down when testing quality? They don't want to get drunk from their own wares and lose all hope of judging it accurately."
