Entirely typical for its purpose, the Great Hall of Grassfield Keep is long, with towering ceilings. Painted shields decorate the walls, displaying the coats of arms of a great many knights and champions renowned through House Meadow’s history. Thick mats of woven rushes line the floor, and two long rows of tables fill the space. At the head of the Hall is a raised wooden platform, with a long table for the host family and their distinguished guests.

In honour of the Festival of Roses, flowers have been wreathed and garlanded around the windows and shields, and petals scattered across the floor.
