It was late enough that most of the fishing was done by the time Alicent wandered down the the bank of the river, finding a place to set down closet and sit, looking down into the river and over the surrounding fields. The thought crossed her mind that she couldn't swim, despite growing up next to the Sunset Sea. High cliffs made getting down to what little shore there was at low tide difficult, and she'd never done anything more than wading the few times she had gone down. The tower was built into the cliff, and the water had always been a vague threat... and sometimes less vague. It was a little bit dangerous to be this close, though it wasn't a fear, exactly... just awareness.
The clear water was beautiful, though, and she liked watching the fish and their movement. So she sat quietly, just thinking for a while, arms folded on top of her knees and chin resting on them.
