Harben grimaced, “I’ve never hit anyone that hard before.” The force of the blow had surprised the boy, he hadn’t known he had it in him. Rubbing the back of his neck sheepishly, “just my luck it happened in a practice, right? Seven knows I won’t get that lucky in the real thing, of course.”

Disappointed at the lack of pointers he helps himself up onto his feet. "You're underestimating yourself. Honestly, I hope that if we get matched up it's in a later round." He placed his free hand on his left shoulder. "That was strong."

Sheepish and a little awed, “are you sure you’re all right, then? I mean, I like to think I try my best, but I’d be damned mad at myself if I injured you for the sake of practice.” The boy really didn’t have any pointers to offer, it had been a fortuitous* hit, the kind that only happened two of three times across an entire tournament.
