[D6 EM] Just Feel Better

[Lysa Meadows]

Finding her betrothed occupied for all of his morning, Lysa was considering taking her palfrey out for a ride before the Grand Melee. She stood outside the stables in a riding habit of pale green, absently toying with her braid, waiting for the mare to be saddled and brought to her, having asked for the horse, though still not entirely sure she wanted to ride at all.

[Alicent Feyther]

Alicent appears nearby, having had a similar thought she smiled toward Lysa. "Good morning. That's a good color on you."

[Lysa Meadows]

Smiling, “Alicent, thank you. Were you thinking of going riding?” her smile twisted wryly.

[Alicent Feyther]

"Toying with the idea... My day isn't quite as full as it has been the past two," she acknowledged, smiling back.

[Lysa Meadows]

Lysa folded her hands in front of her, “I thought a ride would distract me for a time, but I realised that I’d be alone with my thoughts. That is the opposite of what I want.”

[Alicent Feyther]

"Don't be silly, Lysa. You're a girl! Girls don't think," she replied, looking toward her with a smirk, then it clears to a lighter smile. "I can offer not being alone with them, at least."

Lysa laughed, genuinely, “yes, I’d appreciate that. We’ll be back in plenty of time to change for the melee. There’s Powderpuff now,” the young woman grimaced a little, she’d been seven when she named the mare. A stablehand was leading over a lovely cream palfrey with uneven white socks.

[Alicent Feyther]

"Excellent... I need to change into my plain clothes," she said, waiting for Moonshadow. "That's a pretty adorable name... She kinda looks like a Powderpuff." Her own nearly blue-black Palfrey appeared shortly after.

Lysa rolled her eyes, and accepted the boost from the stableboy who knelt down, lacing his fingers together for the girl to step up on. “By the Seven, what a gorgeous horse,” she gushed as Moonshadow was brought over, “what’s her name?”

[Alicent Feyther]

"Moonshadow," she replied with a light blush. It was a little embarrassing to her, too. She stepped up, swinging her leg over the saddle. "Shall we?"
