All the Festival guests are invited for an evening meal in the Great Hall, though it is a relatively modest affair ahead of tomorrow’s feast. The guests are expected to each be greeted by their host for the tradition of bread and salt, welcoming them to Grassfield Keep and extending to them guest rights.
Opt Out: You may choose not to attend the offering of bread and salt, or attend without partaking, but your absence will be noted. Gain 1 Suspect Point.
Step One: Most Gracious, M’Lord
Step up to Lord Meadows, bow or curtsy, and try not to sound like a fool.
Roll: Persuasion (Charm, Convince) or Status (Reputation), Challenging (TN9)
Critical Failure: Your governess suddenly breaks out in a cold sweat, wherever she is. -1 Salt Points and gain 1 Suspect Point.

Success (one+ degree): You are an example to all around you. +1 Salt Points per degree of success.
Step Two: Behaving for Company
The exchange and meal are formalities, and it behooves each guest to make sure that their behaviour doesn’t draw focus from the proceedings.

Roll: Awareness (Notice), Hard (TN15)
Failure: All you notice is the food and drink.
Success (one+ degree): Something is strange in the air this evening. +1 Salt Point per degree of success, additionally gain 1 Suspicion Point.
