The day dawns hot and clear, it is time for the winner of the joust to be revealed! After several days of eliminations, the field has been whittled down to just eight contenders, with Ser Lorent acting as a hasty replacement for the Meadow's up-and-coming champion. The atmosphere is electric, and moods are at an all-time high.

The biggest talking point, however, is the absence of Ser Harben. Leading the rumours is claims that he was killed in the Grand Melee, while others claim that he was gravely injured. Talk of poison hasn't begun to circulate... yet...
